What Drives EERT to Provide Training?

We founded EERT because we’re passionate about helping as many people as possible feel safe and empowered, by training them to be confident and self-reliant in situations where others would fall victim or be forced to leave a victim without aid. The training we provide is not just beneficial to individuals, but is truly value-added for employers and other organizations, protecting their bottom line, while empowering their employees and members, and ultimately saving lives.

Why Should You Train with EERT?

In short, we get it! We know that determination and confidence are extremely important factors in overcoming adverse situations. While exercising determination doesn’t require anything more than a strong and unwavering will to accomplish a goal, when tested, even the strongest will can falter if uncertainty takes hold. Confidence is what keeps uncertainty at bay; confidence in your knowledge and skills, and that all begins with training.

In this day and age, the internet makes it easy for some individuals to self-educate but the level of confidence needed to overcome adversity is derived from proof testing your knowledge and skills; and the two best ways to do that are in a real-life situation or under the facilitation of a certified instructor with real-life experience in the tasks being trained. Wouldn’t you prefer to test yourself in a training environment before lives are at stake?

We also understand that not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace. That’s why we incorporate a number of methods to get the information across to students in an environment that more friendly and collaborative than rigid, but still professional. Are you the kind of person that wants to know the why that’s behind the how? We realize that knowing why is important to many people and we understand that the more knowledgeable a person is about the origin behind the skills they learn, they more confident they are that they were taught effective techniques. At EERT, we make sure students leave a class with the knowledge and the skills needed to instill confidence and self-reliance, and ultimately empower them to feel safe. Additionally, if your training course includes certification, you receive proof the same day of training.

How Can I Sign Up for Training with EERT?

Individuals

If you, or even you and a few friends, are looking to take classes, just go to our Current Classes Page, individually, and sign up. Presently, all of our individual classes are being held at our Tactical Training Facility, which is primarily used by our sister company Thumb Every Day Tactical, so weekend classes may seem few and far between, but we do regularly some during the week. If you don’t see any availability for a class that you’re looking for on the website, please contact us so we can let you know when the next one is planned. We won’t generally schedule an open class to meet an individual’s needs, but Private Training options are available for individuals as well as small groups up to five people.

American Heart Association Classes…

   Basic Life Support (BLS)

For situations like these, we can conduct private training at our site or yours, on any of the classes we regularly offer to Individuals. Private training sessions can be scheduled for individuals and small groups of up to five people, but do incur a premium charge, based on your group’s size. For those who prefer private training, that generally comes as no surprise.  If you would like to schedule Private Training, please contact us directly so we can attempt to accommodate you. If you have a group of six or more people and would like private training, please see the Groups section below.

Groups

If you have six or more people who you would like to schedule for private training or a seminar, at your location, please contact us directly to coordinate. A suitable training area is required, which at a minimum is free from hazards and distractions, has a seating area and enough room for the training to take place, and has power or power can be made available. We bring everything required to conduct a scheduled class but if you have an audio/visual system, tables and comfortable chairs in your training area, it will certainly enhance the experience for your group. Don’t have a place suitable training? Let’s see what we can work out to get your people trained; we can arrange for a third-party location near you but additional charges will apply. We can also tailor the courses to fit your needs, and even design training ourselves, that’s specific to your group, if needed.

Businesses, Municipalities, Schools, Houses of Worship, Professional and Industry Associations, Fraternal Organizations, and Clubs can all benefit from signing up their employees and members for group training.
