Why Our Small Company Conducts Product Comparison Testing
We’ve you ever wondered how well a product we see advertised really works or which product, of the many similar products out there, is the best for us. Of course, if you search for product reviews online, you can probably find some but you really should ask yourself a few questions before taking what they say at face value. For instance, do they have a background or the right experience that makes them a subject matter expert on the product? Are they just giving a positive review because they’re trying to sell the product, get an affiliate marketing fee, or boost their social media standings and follower numbers to supplement their income? Would they actually use the product themselves? Let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of negative video reviews posted out there and if they do get posted, they don’t remain very long. We feel that product reviews need to be helpful and informative, and remain available to the public for as long as possible or relevant to actually be of service.
Helping the public stay informed is one of the missions we undertook when we founded Essential Emergency Response Training. It’s one of the reasons we write articles for the Foster Self Reliance monthly newsletter, and why we continue to add informative content to this site. That mission also extends to providing information about Innovative Life-Saving Devices and consulting with clients to help them make the best choices for them when choosing devices; but when there are a number of similar models on the market and there hasn’t already been a multi-product comparison conducted, we take it as a challenge to conduct a study ourselves.
